Before the start of the mass, four women with feathers in their hands ascended to the altar and began to dance, accompanied by the shaman singing and the drum beating.

In the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Superior, Wisconsin, USA, a shamanic ritual was conducted at the beginning of the mass.

A video of the mass was posted on the diocese's YouTube channel, featuring a group of women dressed in traditional Native American clothing and holding feathers in their hands dancing around the altar.

Their dance is accompanied by the singing of a shaman, who beats a drum while standing on the priest's lectern.

After the shaman finished singing, organ music sounded in the church, and the mass began.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that a "catechesis" of the pagan deity Pachamama was conducted in the Vatican.
