The MP rep told the Primate of the Church of Antioch about an international conference in Moscow, at which the distortion of the doctrine by the Phanar was discussed.

On September 30, 2021, the representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ to the Patriarchal Throne of Antioch, Hegumen Arseny (Sokolov), told His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Great Antioch and All East about the conference dedicated to the issues of primacy and conciliarity in the Orthodox Church, reports Patriarchia.ru.

The meeting took place at the Antioch Patriarchate in Damascus.

Hegumen Arseny conveyed greetings to Patriarch John on behalf of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church. He told His Beatitude Patriarch John about the international conference "World Orthodoxy: Primacy and Conciliarity in the Light of Orthodox Teaching", at which the anti-canonical activities of the Phanar head were assessed, including by representatives of the Local Churches.

During the meeting, His Beatitude Patriarch John also expressed gratitude to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill for the fraternal assistance that the Russian Church provides to the Church of Antioch in the restoration of destroyed temples during the war in Syria.

At present, with the support of the Russian Orthodox Church, three places of worship of the Antiochian Orthodox Church are being restored – in Arbin, Zabadani and Daraya.

The parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest.

As reported, the Patriarch of the Antiochian Church congratulated the UOC on the feast of Prince Vladimir.
