UOC prayerfully honors the memory of those killed during World War II
Metropolitan Anthony with the clergy and KDAiS students laid flowers at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kyiv.
On June 22, on the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, a memorial lity was served at the stele on the grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Park of Eternal Glory in Kyiv for those who died during the war, reports kdais.kiev.ua.
The divine service was led by the Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary.
Metropolitan Anthony was co-served by the clergy of Kyiv and teachers and students of Kyiv theological schools in the priesthood.
The divine service was accompanied by the choir of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary under the direction of the choir archimandrite Leonty (Tupkalo).

As the UOJ previously reported, Metropolitan Anthony transferred aid from the UOC to Metropolitan Elijah of Beirut.
