The National Museum of History of Ukraine, where the monastery stood, plans to create new objects for excursions in its place.

The director of the National Museum of Ukrainian History, Fedir Androshchuk, stated that archaeological excavations will commence at the site of the Tithe Monastery, which was demolished by the authorities on the night of May 17, Ukrinform reports.

"This is the territory of the museum, a designated recreational area, and we have many programs here for both children and tourists. We plan to create new exhibition objects so that Kyiv residents and city guests can learn about the history of our country," noted the museum's director-general.

As reported by the UOJ, the lawyer of the UOC, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, mentioned that the overnight demolition of the Tithe (Desiatynny) Monastery was unlawful since no documents regarding the dismantling of the shrine were included in the Unified Enforcement Proceedings Register.
