Appeals to the authorities are a cry from the souls of millions of believers in Ukrainians since their rights are constantly violated.

The head of the Synodal Information Department of the UOC, Metropolitan Clement, said at the press conference "Appeal of believers of the UOC to the authorities: discriminatory laws and oppression" that with the laws adopted by the Poroshenko authorities, the full life of the UOC communities is impossible.

“Today, a change in the statutes of our communities is blocked, it is impossible today to appoint or reappoint the head of a new religious community, to create a new religious community,” said the metropolitan. “Today it is impossible to formalize any legal relations regarding property issues of religious buildings, land plots for religious buildings that are used by believers of the UOC”.

At the conference, Metropolitan Clement said that the authorities' ignoring the appeals of believers is disregard for their rights as voters.
