The Reserve concluded a memorandum of cooperation with the Ukrainian Centre for Cultural Studies.

The National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with the Ukrainian Centre for Cultural Studies to jointly work "for the preservation and development of cultural and spiritual heritage objects," as reported on the museum's Facebook page.

It is anticipated that by collaborating with the Ukrainian Center for Cultural Studies, the Reserve and involved museum partners from all over Ukraine will be able to "translate their knowledge into the language of analytics to vividly demonstrate to foreign partners and donors the need for implementing protection programs for objects of spiritual and cultural heritage and simultaneously make these projects not only in tune with Ukrainian fundamental values but also practical".

"Our experience has already interested Lithuanian colleagues, and now we must work to ensure that not only Ukrainian but also European intangible heritage is protected from force majeure events such as a pandemic or war," the statement says.

As reported, in April 2023, journalists revealed the appalling condition of the Upper Lavra objects, which belong to the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve.
