Policeman dampens prayer with a blasphemous song about Christ near Lavra
The police officer turned on a blasphemous song about Christ in Russian to drown out the chanting of the UOC believers at the entrance to the Lavra.
On August 16, 2023, at the entrance to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, a police officer turned on the blasphemous song “Lord Lord - Jesus Christ” on his phone to dampen the prayer of the UOC believers. A video, in which a police officer smiles and listens to a Russian song, was posted by the Hodihitria Telegram channel.
The footage features the police officer smiling and shaking his head to the song that makes fun of Christ, while the UOC believers are reading prayers in front of the barrier at the entrance to the Lavra.
According to information from open sources, the track "The Lord God - Jesus Christ" was written by Russian Pavel Satanenko from Barnaul in 2013. The song is actively used in their social networks by representatives of various organizations, in particular, Satanists and atheists. To create the track, the words of the Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Dmitry Smirnov were sampled.
As the UOJ reported, an OCU activist wearing a sweatshirt with the "Satan" inscription came to the entrance to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
