UOC community, whose temple was grabbed by OCU, holds services in the woods
Believers are forced to gather for liturgy in the forest like the first Christians.
The rector and parishioners of the Intercession community of the UOC in Trebukhiv have to gather for worship in the forest after the OCU took away the temple from them. Footage of the liturgy among the trees was shown by the telegram channel “Beyond the Boundaries”.
“On April 23, the church was taken away from the believers by a detachment of the people in camouflage and non-church crowd. They broke down the doors of the church, mocked the Bible and the portrait of His Beatitude, drove the priest with his children from his house onto the street. These events are still before our eyes,” the resource writes.
The footage shows that parishioners arrive at the place of worship on bicycles, stick candles directly into the ground, and spread the shroud on a folding camp table.
The film “Beyond the Boundaries” about the lawlessness towards the Christians of Trebukhiv is being released at the moment, which will be shown at all international venues.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the OCU activist, one of the church raiders in Trebukhiv, called the Bible “garbage”.
