Eyewitnesses said that Ivan Semtsov together with Vasyl Tyslenko, head of the Lipovets village, organised a church raid, using their official positions for this purpose.

During a conflict in the churchyard, Natykach snatched a cross from the hands of a UOC priest and threw it to the ground.

According to witnesses, he immediately felt unwell and fell to the ground. All attempts to revive him failed – Natykach died.
