Church answers MP’s words about "low-quality children" in deeds
UOC parishioners gave aid to large families and wished that in Ukraine there are as many people who love children and care about their people and their land as possible.
The St. Mark parish of the Dniprovsky Deanery of Kyiv (UOC) organized a collection of grocery sets, clothes and personal hygiene items to help socially vulnerable groups and large families, said Archpriest John Serediuk, the rector of the church, the Dean of the Dniprovsky Deanery on the "1Kozak" channel.
“Today, in particular, the parish organized a trip to large families to give them grocery sets, clothes, to support them financially,” the clergyman said. “And we would like to devote all this to counterbalance the fact that some of the authorities are promoting the idea of “high-quality” or “low-quality” children, which in sounds wild and inhuman.”
The priest of the UOC emphasized that life is a gift of God, and "for everyone, God makes it possible to feed and clothe oneself, gives air and the Sun, warming their hearts and their bodies".
“I wish there were more such people who love children, who care about the future generation, care about their people and their land, given to us by the Lord,” Father John wished.
As reported earlier, MP from the “Servant of the People” party Galina Tretyakova, who heads the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Social Policy, in her discussions on the appropriateness of social payments to unemployed citizens raised the topic of forced sterilization of unemployed people who have “low-quality” children.
