OCU “deacon” detained for pedophilia in Lviv
Law enforcement officers detained a “clergyman” who had been raping his own daughter for years.
In Lviv, police officers detained a 44-year-old man on suspicion of corrupting his underage daughter. This was reported on Facebook by the press service of the police of the Lviv region.
The department noted that the child's father also "forced her to produce pornographic materials and forced the satisfaction of sexual passion in an unnatural way."
Later, Tvoemisto.tv journalists found out that the man suspected of pedophilia is a “deacon” of one of the Lviv parishes of the OCU, which was previously under the jurisdiction of the UOC-KP.
Journalists claim that the "priest" was repeatedly married and has several children.
“Upon reaching adulthood, the victim reached out to a psychologist for help and later informed law enforcement officers about the crimes that her father had committed against her for years,” the police said.
The court chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention without the right to bail.
As the UOJ reported, US politician Kathy Porter said that pedophilia is not a crime.
