The archpastor of the Poltava diocese, together with the Romanian bishops, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Neamţ Lavra.

On November 15, 2022, in the Neamţ Lavra (Romania), Metropolitan Philip of Poltava and Myrhorod concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with Metropolitan of Moldova and Bukovyna, Archbishop Feofan of Iasi, and other bishops of the Romanian Orthodox Church. This was reported by the press service of the Poltava eparchy on its Facebook page. A special prayer was offered for peace in Ukraine and for an end to the war.

Metropolitan Philip venerated the holy relics of the Monk Paisius Velichkovsky, which rest in the cathedral of the monastery, and offered up prayers to Saint Paisius for his native city of Poltava and its inhabitants.

During his visit to Romania, Metropolitan Philip is accompanied by the cleric of the Chernivtsi diocese of the UOC, Archpriest Nikolai Popescu.

As the UOJ wrote, the Metropolitan of Poltava took part in an Orthodox forum in Romania.
