For the service with a schismatic bishop, a cleric of the Khust Eparchy was banned from priesthood.

On August 20, 2019, Metropolitan Mark (Petrovitsky) of Khust and Vinogradov signed a decree that banned Archpriest Dmitry Popovich from priesthood for falling into schism, reports the website of the Khust Eparchy.

“With this notification of August 20, 2019, for immoral behaviour, disobedience to the ruling bishop and serving with a schismatic bishop, thereby falling into schism, you are banned from priesthood,” the text of the decree reads.

We recall that in March 2019, a cleric of the Vinnitsa Eparchy of the UOC was banned from priesthood.
