High-tech museum of the Bible to open in 2017
"Washington D.C.’s latest museum, which is said to be one of the best of the city, will recreate biblical history in a way that has never been done before. From artifacts and exhibits of the Holy Land, to technologically advanced features, to a garden with plants mentioned in the Bible and foods from the Biblical era. The Museum of the Bible will be a complete experience of biblical times," says the article.
The museum is set to be the world’s most technologically advanced museum. The results will be seen in late 2017, when the museum is scheduled to be opened.
The Museum of the Bible has enough to engage visitors for over a week to if they are interested in going through everything carefully. For those who don’t want to visit every section and save time by visiting only specific sections, devices will be available for visitors to customize their tour. This device will act as a guide for visitors with a running commentary that will be available in ten languages.
The 430,000 square-foot museum will try to bring biblical knowledge to people, without trying to spread any religious ideology. With 12 theaters, 384 monitors, 93 projectors and 83 interactive elements, the museum hopes to revolutionize the way in which the Bible is studied.
