In Zaporozhye diocese the UOC honored memory of WW2 victims
On June 21, on the eve of 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, in Zaporozhye city all the war victims were commemorated in prayers. It is reported by diocesan site.
A mess for those who died during World War II was conducted near the “Niobe” memorial in the park of Power Engineers. The clergy and parishioners of Zaporozhye diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took part in the commemoration service.
It will be recalled that 75 years ago, on 22 June 1941, the Great Patriotic War began.
