Britain's Queen Opposes "Same-Sex Marriages" because of Her Faith
Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain did not believe that gay marriages are allowed, according to Christiantoday.
The newspaper cites a "friend" who said that Her Majesty, being a true Christian, does not support "same-sex marriages" and believes that marriage must be contracted between a man and a woman.
According to the source, the Queen was upset about the fact of the adoption of the law on gay marriage, but "was not able to intervene".
"I cannot interfere, I can only advise and warn", – she said.
The "same-sex marriage" law was passed in England and Wales in 2013, in Scotland – in 2014, but still such marriages are not allowed in Northern Ireland.
