UOC Chancellor and Apostolic Nuncio discuss interfaith issues

On February 9, 2022, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, the Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, met with the Apostolic Nuncio to Ukraine, Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas, reports the press service of the UOC Department for External Church Relations.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC, Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich.
“The conversation focused on the current state of Orthodox-Catholic relations, both globally and at the Ukrainian level. Other issues of common interest were also discussed," reports the DECR website.
Earlier, the Apostolic Nuncio to Ukraine called for efforts to ensure that the “successes” of the ecumenical dialogue between Catholics and Orthodox should be practically implemented.
