The Mormon Church recalls its missionaries from Ukraine due to the “uncertain situation,” according to the website of the religious organization.

“Due to the current uncertainty surrounding Ukraine, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is temporarily relocating full-time missionaries who serve in the Ukraine Dnipro and Ukraine Kyiv Moldavian Missions outside of Ukraine. The decision was made due to a large number of warnings and given the fact that diplomatic missions of some states in Ukraine are preparing to take out individual personnel and their families,” the message says.

Missionaries will be sent to European countries. Those missionaries whose term of service is coming to an end will be sent home.

Earlier it became known that the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Commonwealth of Australia began the process of evacuating their diplomatic missions from Ukraine due to the threat of a military conflict.
