Metropolitan Onuphry ranks first among spiritual leaders in another rating

His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine ranked 15th in the TOP-100 people and phenomena rating of the Vesti media holding.

“The modest and ascetic metropolitan is a role model: having withstood the crisis years of 2018-2019 under his auspices, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has tempered and retained its fortitude,” says the comments of the rating creators.

The head of the UGCC Sviatoslav Shevchuk took 58th place, the chief rabbi of Kyiv and Ukraine Moshe Reuven Azman – 62nd place, the head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko – 63rd place.

Places in the rating were determined by six parameters: the level of independence, resource capacity and outreach, contribution to the chosen sphere and achievements, influence on decision-making, the ability and skillfulness to accumulate supporters around oneself, media coverage.

Earlier, Metropolitan Onuphry became the most influential spiritual leader of Ukraine according to the National rating "Elite of Ukraine - 2021".
