The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Snitkiv, Vinnytsia region was illegally re-registered in the OCU, according to the Telegram channel “Dozor on 1Kozak”.

The illegal re-registration of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Snitkiv is evidenced by data from the website of state registers.

As the authors of the TG channel “Dozor on 1Kozak” assume, the official of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Igor Saletsky is behind the re-registration of the UOC church in the OCU.

“It was this that the Orthodox residents of Vinnytsia were warned about and opposed at the prayer standing at the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration on December 3. Illegal re-registration of the temple is a direct road for the raiders of the OCU to the violent seizure of the shrine. The officials again violated the law and showed their true attitude towards Orthodox Ukrainians,” says a message on the Telegram channel.

As reported, the press secretary of the Vinnytsia Eparchy said that the churches were being transferred to the OCU based on illegal protocols.

On December 3, UOC believers held the prayer standing under the building of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration to prevent the next illegal re-registration of communities as it became known the day before to declare the need for everyone – including the authorities – to comply with the laws of Ukraine and demand the dismissal of the "black registrar" Igor Saletsky.
