UOC bishop leads worship at the relics of Spyridon of Trimythous in Greece

On November 16, 2021, Metropolitan Philip of Poltava and Myrhorod led the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of St. Spyridon, Bishop of Trimythous Miracle Worker on the island of Corfu (Greece), according to the Facebook page of the Poltava Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The hierarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church performed a service with the blessing of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, and the local ruling bishop, His Eminence Metropolitan Nectarios of Kerkyra, Paxoi and Diapontian Islands. Metropolitan Philip was concelebrated by church clerics and guests in the priesthood.

At the relics of St. Spyridon of Trimythous, which rest in this Greek temple, the bishop offered prayers for church unity and for an end to the coronavirus epidemic, as well as for doctors who are fighting for human lives and health of the sick.

As reported by UOJ, Bishop Victor led the Divine Liturgy in Corfu.
