Oleg Lutsan, "priest" of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the OCU in Ivano-Frankivsk, told why, together with other clergymen, he began to sing the song "Our Father Bandera" during Christmas holidays, reports the Internet resource "Spiritual Greatness of Lviv".

According to him, for the first time they heard this song on a video, where it was performed by the late "priest" of the OCU Anatoly Zinkevich, brother of the "Metropolitan" of Volyn and Lutsk Mikhail Zinkevich. “We liked it so much then that in 2019, when we were driving, we started humming it. Subsequently, we decided to perform the full version of this song,” said Oleg Lutsan.

Subsequently, they performed this song during the 2020 Christmas holidays at the temple festival in Novitsa village, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and later – in the house where the founder of the OUN (b) Stepan Bandera lived and during the carol-singing at the OCU "priest’s" place. “We were not ashamed of this song, but we began to sing it even more actively,” the OCU “cleric” shared his memories.

As the UOJ reported, in Ivano-Frankivsk, the "priests" of the OCU sang "Our Father Bandera".
