One footage from the cameras that were located at the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the UOC in Cherkasy recorded a night intrusion by OCU raiders into the territory of the shrine on 17 October. The video was published on the Dozor_kozak1 Telegram channel on 29 October.
It is noted that the video depicted the cleric of the OCU Nazariy Zasansky, easily recognisable even in a mask, consulting with the raiders on how best to break the CCTV cameras.
‘In short, the situation is as follows. Cameras show, although 2 system cabinets disassembled. With switches, with everything ripped out,’ says one of the militants.
‘They were very much afraid that the cameras would record their crime. And the cameras recorded everything,’ the journalists commented.
As the UOJ wrote, the Cherkasy Eparchy denied the lies of the OCU regarding Metropolitan Theodosiy.
