On 17 October 2024, an international scientific conference "The Influence of the Constantinople Patriarchate on the Fate of Orthodoxy in Ukraine" will be held at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade. The event is prompted by concerns over the negative influence of the Phanar on the church situation in Ukraine and the world, reports pravoslavie.ru.

The conference will bring together academic and expert representatives from the episcopate, as well as theologians from Balkan countries, Ukraine and France. Speakers will include His Eminence Luke, Metropolitan of Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol, Professor Dr. Zoran Kindjić, Professor Dr. Zoran Čvorović, Professor Dr. Zoran Milošević, Archpriest, Professor Dr. Darko Ristov Đogo and others.
