On September 3, 2021, Epiphany Dumenko assured Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova that the OCU is always ready to "lend a shoulder" in the liberation of the "occupied territories", according to the official website of the OCU.

During the meeting, the parties discussed "a systematic and gross violation of the rights of the clergy and believers of the OCU" in Crimea and in certain areas of Donbas.

In this context, Dumenko said that the OCU "is always ready to lend a shoulder in defending the Motherland" and the liberation of Crimea and Donbas.

He also stressed that his religious structure "will continue to provide spiritual guidance" to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, residents of the front-line territories and internally displaced persons.

In addition, Dumenko told Irina Venediktova about the details of the visit of the head of Phanar to Ukraine and thanked the state "for all-round assistance in organizing this historic event for Ukraine."

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the "hierarch" of the OCU called for an uprising against Zelensky for a truce in Donbas, while the Kyiv district court sentenced the military chaplain of the "Right Sector" Vasily Kosiachenko to 7 years in prison for robbery.
