Catholic Bishop Joseph Strickland believes that Pope Francis's statement that all religions are a path to God should be considered heretical.

A few hours after Pope Francis said in Singapore that "all religions are a path to God," Bishop Strickland wrote on X (former Twitter): "The only way to God the Father is through His Son Jesus Christ."

"To deny this is to deny the Catholic faith, this is called heresy," emphasized the Catholic hierarch, attaching a link to a document issued by the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which affirms that only the Lord Jesus is the Saviour.

As reported by the UOJ, according to the Pope, world religions are "like different languages to come to God, but God is God for all", and "since God is God for all, we are all children of God".
