Information about the authorities' ban on the UOC religious procession to Pochaiv has been posted on the official social media accounts of the communities. However, the decree by the Khmelnytskyi RSA and the regional TRC has not yet appeared on their official website, reports the Ye publication.

According to the document, all events in the form of marches and demonstrations are prohibited from August 16 to 25, particularly referring to the UOC procession. The order stated that the purpose of this decision is to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain public order in the region.

As the UOJ previously reported, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Alexander, who has been on the front lines since the first days of the invasion, expressed bewilderment as to why the authorities allow gatherings of 30,000 Hasidic Jews but prohibit UOC religious processions.
