Zelensky meets with Bartholomew ahead of summit in Switzerland

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople ahead of the summit on peace in Switzerland, Interfax-Ukraina reports.
Zelensky thanked Patriarch Bartholomew for the humanitarian support to Ukraine and for prayers for peace and assistance to Ukrainians.
"It is very important that you are with us today at the peace summit. Thank you for the humanitarian support to Ukraine, especially in matters of returning Ukrainian children and exchanging prisoners. Thank you for your prayers for peace and aid to Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression. This is very important to us," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
Previously, the UOJ reported that the head of Phanar is attending the peace summit in Switzerland as an observer.
