On the Internet and social networks, believers of the UOC are launching a flash mob with the hashtags #бабулі_в_кєпочках and #жовті_кєпочкі with a call to President Vladimir Zelensky to apologize for what taking the prayer standing in front of the Verkhovna Rada for a rally of the OPZZh with the participation of “old women and children in yellow caps,” reports NGO “Miriane” on its Telegram channel.
The report notes that the President has distanced himself from the issues of the Church and needs help to see the many-thousand prayer standing of the UOC believers under the Verkhovna Rada. “Let's all go to Zelensky's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/zelenskiy95) and add links, videos and photos of the prayer stand there with the hashtags #бабулі_в_кєпочках and #жовті_кєпочкі + we urge you to take a closer look and apologize to thousands of UOC believers," calls the public association "Miriane".
They also ask the participants of the 20,000-prayer standing under the Verkhovna Rada and the cross procession to the Office of the President to publish photos from the scene on their Facebook page and in the comments on the President's page with a request: “Vladimir Alexandrovich, find an old woman in a yellow cap here” or “Me too an old woman in a yellow cap” with the same hashtags.
As reported, Zelensky confused the standing of the UOC with the rally of the OPZZh.
