On June 16, Kyiv will host the first LGBT march since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, according to Strana. For safety reasons, the march will be held in the metro and will accommodate around 500 participants.
The last "Equality March" in Kyiv took place in 2021. However, a small-scale LGBT parade was held in the Kharkiv metro in 2022.
As reported by the UOJ, an LGBT film festival was held in Kyiv in April.
