The American lawyer for the UOC, Robert Amsterdam, highlighted the main characteristic of those who persecute believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

"Love pointing out to all the UOC opponents that they need evidence to make accusations. Rule of law is so foreign to these folks not only in Ukraine but US," the lawyer wrote in his X post.

In his opinion, "They have nothing but empty words and the viscious narrative of religious cleansing!"

As reported by the UOJ, KIIS complained that they had to explain the research findings regarding the ban on the UOC to American journalists due to their assessment by Robert Amsterdam.
