UOC hierarch meets with the Polish Church Primate, Metropolitan Savva

On 13 March 2024, Archbishop Victor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv met with the Primate of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw and All Poland, according to the Telegram channel of the Khmelnytskyi Diocese.

The meeting, which took place with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, discussed issues related to the spiritual care of Ukrainians who ended up in Poland due to Russian military aggression, as well as other matters concerning church and public life.

"The Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church conveyed greetings to the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church with wishes for the swift end of the war, peace, and prosperity for the Orthodox Church, Ukraine, and its people," the message said.

As the UOJ reported, Metropolitan Savva of Poland met with the President of Poland.
