Court hearings on eviction of brethren from Lavra postponed for a month

On 15 February 2024, court hearings on the case of "eviction" of the brethren from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra were held in the Northern Economic Court of Appeals, the Lavra’s lawyer Archpriest Nikita Chekman reports to the UOJ correspondent.
He said that two days before the meeting the composition of the judicial panel had been completely changed.
"Yesterday they changed two judges out of three, today – another one," the lawyer said.
According to him, the court session was postponed to 14.00 on 14 March 2024. The reasons for the postponement were not reported.
As reported, the lawyers of the UOC help believers who are ready to defend their right to pray in the Lavra.
