On January 14, 2024, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, the Primate of the UOC, visited the orphanage affiliated with the Bancheny Monastery of the UOC in the village of Molnytsia in Bukovyna. This was reported by the Bancheny Monastery to the UOJ.
The Primate visited the orphanage immediately after the liturgy at the Ascension Monastery in Bancheny.
The children, adopted and cared for by Metropolitan Longin, welcomed His Beatitude Onuphry with a festive concert, after which the Primate communicated with the wards and distributed gifts to them.
As reported earlier, His Beatitude Onuphry led the liturgy at the Bancheny Monastery.
