The court hearing for the case involving Metropolitan Pavel, the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, did not take place due to the fault of the prosecution, as reported by mriya.news.

According to the information from the source, the prosecutor did not appear in court and withdrew his appeal.

Later, the prosecutor appeared in the courtroom via video conference, confirming his appeal and stating that he had not withdrawn it earlier.

Previously, the UOJ reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had submitted the case of Metropolitan Pavel, the abbot of the Lavra, to the court.
