The OCU will not switch to a new calendar style in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The press service of the reserve reported this on Facebook, publishing the schedule of Avraamy Lotysh's (OCU-appointed new abbot of the Lavra – Ed.) "services" in September.

When asked by one of the commentators why the services are indicated according to the Julian calendar despite the fact that the OCU switched to the New Julian calendar, the reserve answered that this was Dumenko's "blessing".

“The Lavra retains the old calendar for now,” the officials said.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the “Vespers” of the OCU on the Transfiguration feast in the Refectory Church of the Lavra passed almost without parishioners.
