On August 13, 2023, the Exarch of the Phanar in Kyiv, Bishop Michael of Comana, served in St. Andrew's Cathedral with a supernumerary cleric of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archimandrite Kirill (Govorun), the mission "Stauropegia of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine" reports on Facebook. The “priest” of the OCU Kostiantyn Shevchenko also concelebrated with them.
Recall that on October 15, 2018, the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church broke off Eucharistic communion with the Church of Constantinople.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Govorun concelebrated with the "clergy" of the OCU.
