UOC-KP “hierarch”: Filaret is recovering and intends to leave hospital

The health of the head of the Kyiv Patriarchate Filaret Denisenko has improved significantly and he will soon be able to leave the hospital, said the UOC-KP "Metropolitan" Ioasaf Shibaev on his Facebook page.

The hierarch of the UOC-KP learned about the changes in Denisenko's condition from a telephone conversation with Filaret himself.

“His state of health is improving so much that there is hope for early check out of the hospital,” Shibaev wrote.

The head of the UOC-KP was hospitalized with COVID-19 on September 4. The next day he was diagnosed with pneumonia.

As reported, earlier the Kyiv Patriarchate feared unscrupulous treatment of Filaret.
