Believers of the UOC community in Zolochiv, where unknown militants destroyed the fence of the priest's house, are asking for financial assistance to install a new capital fence, gates and additional CCTV cameras.

“We are grateful to God for everything that happens to us and pray for those people who have committed this crime today,” Fr. Maxim Yoenko said. “Our community took the news of the destruction of the fence calmly. But now we need to put up a new capital fence that could protect the trailer in which our services are held. It is also necessary to install additional security cameras. All this will require serious funds, which we do not have. It is a pity, of course, that believers in their own country have to think about how to defend themselves against attacks, but everything is God's will. We are Christians, and we should not complain."

All those who may show concern are requested to financially support the community.

As reported by the UOJ, on August 6, 2020, local masked militants with hammers destroyed the fence of the private house of the UOC cleric Priest Maksim Yoenko, who had been earlier accused of illegal construction of a church in the courtyard by representatives of the UGCC and local authorities.
