Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra brethren distribute food packages to capital residents

On March 22, 2023, in the residential areas of the capital, the brethren of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra distributed food to needy Kyivites, reports the press service of the monastery.

In total, about a ton of food packages were distributed to the residents of the capital: "Brethren of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra continue to provide social assistance in any circumstances. <…> These groceries were offered to internally displaced persons (who left the occupied territories and front-line settlements) and needy Kyivites)".

In the Lavra, it was also noted that the brothers of the monastery provide targeted assistance to the needy and also regularly go out into the streets of the city so that as many people as possible can receive food.

As reported, the brethren of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra transferred humanitarian assistance to the Kherson region.
