The activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ukraine will be banned if His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry does not meet the condition of the President’s Office to transfer the UOC to the control of the OCU, report the sources in the OP of the “Resident” Telegram channel.
According to the insider, the head of the UOC refused to accept the scheme proposed by representatives of the President’s Office.
The source also noted that the eviction of the monks from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is only the first step towards a complete ban on the UOC:
"Further, there will be a complete ban on the UOC in Ukraine unless Onuphry accepts Bankova's proposal," the “Resident” reported.
As reported, the UOC is driven out of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
