The OCU "hierarch" Oleksandr (Drabinko) said that only a third of the UOC priests are transferring to the OCU with their communities. He said this on the air of the "Kyiv 24" TV channel.

According to him, clerics "do not listen" to the opinion of parishioners who allegedly want to move to the OCU because of the "rigid vertical of power" in the UOC.

"Priests, unfortunately, due to the rigid canonical vertical of power in the Moscow Patriarchate, do not listen and do not follow their flock. As a result, they hope that the church authorities will help them. Such a situation exists in the Kyiv region, where a priest has four children. Both the people and local authorities asked him to stay," noted Drabinko.

As reported, Drabinko thanked God and the SBU for the searches in UOC eparchies.
