Orthodox journalist: News denigrating the UOC is driven for money

The wife of a UOC clergyman, journalist Valentina Ilyina, noted that publications about the “services” of the OCU in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, about the claims of the UGCC to the Pochaiv Lavra, are targeted, i.e. disseminated for money, in order to reach out to as large an audience as possible. The journalist wrote about this on her Facebook page.

“All this is a good testimony of how information pressure is being exerted on Ukrainians. Today, those who are not ready to think, reason, immediately fall into the captivity of skillfully placed networks. This is also confirmed by the fact of considerable cash flows that are attracted for the promotion of the OCU. If someone reported about targeted publications within the UOC, they would immediately scream about betrayal and the need to transfer the invested money in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But in case with the OCU, they are silent,” added Valentina Ilyina.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the daughter of Valentina Ilyina spoke about the persecution of believers of the UOC on the sidelines of the Assembly of the WCC.
