On April 9, 2020, the “Churcher MOLYSIA VDOMA” (“Churcher PRAY AT HOME”) Telegram channel conducted a survey among supporters of the UGCC to find out how they feel about the idea to suspend "obligatory communion and confession" during a quarantine period.

304 respondents answered the question: "Exclusively for believers of the UGCC. Do you support the release from obligatory communion and confession during the quarantine?"

69% of them were in favour of suspending communion and confession for the period of quarantine, 18% were against it, and 13% said they could only reluctantly support this idea.

Earlier, the head of the UGCC Sviatoslav Shevchuk urged his believers not to insist on communion during the quarantine.
