On April 1, 2020, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) of Boryspil and Brovary, UOC Chancellor, advised on how to overcome fears and trials, reports Pravlife.

Difficulties and trials, evaluated only from a human point of view, really seem scary, terrible and hopeless, says the hierarch, “but the same trials, passed through the prism of the Divine light, do not frighten and fear, but are part of the amazing path that Christ leads us to the Father's House."

He explains that for those who walk through life with God, the raging passions and elements only seem frightening, scary and serious, but in fact, on approach, they are smashed against His feet.

“It is important to learn how to live with God in joy, a world full of trust and love. After all, what our relationship with Him will be in this life, so they will be imprinted in eternity. We have a unique chance to become on earth a friend of God, His faithful companion, for this we must absorb the sea of Divine light, which will give a spark of new life. Life with God is already a paradise, wherever we are. He will always support and give the right advice, fill us with joy and light, give His care and love.

But what we should really fear is to lose touch with Him. There is nothing worse than this,” the bishop explained.

As reported earlier, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) stated that Christianity is the destiny of strong and courageous people, and humility is valuable in the eyes of God and is His gift given to man for a brave heart.
