On February 13, 2020, the results of the World Week of Interfaith Harmony were discussed in Kyiv. During the discussion, the Advisor to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Denis Koliada promised that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports would promote interfaith dialogue.

“The Ministry will always promote such dialogues because, first of all, we are talking about peace in Ukraine <...>. The interreligious dialogue will always be a priority for the state that thinks about harmony and peace in its country. Therefore, it’s important for us to hold such platforms,” the online outlet “Ukrinform” cites Koliada’s words.

According to him, the religious leaders of Ukraine play a special role in spreading the ideas of good and peace, and therefore, their desire to advocate dialogue and peace is a great message for those in power and society.

We recall that the initiator of the All-Ukrainian Week of Interfaith Harmony in Ukraine is the All-Ukrainian Council of Religious Associations, with the assistance of the Department for Nationalities and Religions of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
