The cross procession, which started on August 19 from Kamenets-Podolsky and heads to the Pochaev Lavra, has continued for the fifth day. The UOJ learned from its sources that in some of its sections, the procession was led both by Metropolitan Sergiy (Gensitsky) of Ternopol and Metropolitan Theodore (Gayun) of Kamenets-Podolsky.

On August 22, on the border of the Khmelnitsky and Ternopol Regions, the procession led by Metropolitan Theodore, was joined by the ruling bishop of the Ternopol Eparchy, Metropolitan Sergiy.

Within as few as 5 days, the procession covered more than 150 kilometers and on Sunday, August 25, is supposed to arrive at the Pochaev Lavra.

Also, the UOJ sources say that the cross procession column stretched almost 10 kilometers long.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that more than 20,000 believers participate in the cross procession from Kamenets-Podolsky to Pochaev.
