Filaret: Epiphany is a son of deceased hierarch of UOC-KP Daniel Chokaliuk

"Primate" of the newly created religious organization Epiphany Dumenko

The head of the recently created religious organization Epiphany Dumenko is an illegitimate son of “metropolitan” Daniel Chokaliuk, told “patriarch of Kiev and All Rus-Ukraine” Filaret Denisenko in an interview with the Internet publication Comments.ua.

Bombshell news was announced by Filaret in response to a request from journalists to comment on the rumors about the relationship of Epiphany with the head of the UOC-KP himself.

“He has nothing to do with me. He is a relative of the late metropolitan Daniel Chokaliuk. Epiphany is a sideslip of Daniel and was raised in the Chokaliuk family. The evidence is already there. Earlier rumors were spread about him and me but now we have evidence that this is the illegitimate son of metropolitan Daniel,” said the “patriarch of Kiev and All Rus-Ukraine”.

Previously, he also stressed that the OCU was unrecognized and remains so.
