Usik – to Poroshenko: One cannot use faith opportunistically
Heavyweight world boxing champion and UOC worshiper Alexander Usik
The heavyweight world boxing champion and UOC worshiper Alexander Usik criticized President Poroshenko for using people's faith in order to be re-elected for a new term. This is reported by TT-info outlet.
“He says and does incompatible things. I think many will agree that Poroshenko in vain involves Tomos into his election campaign promoting at the same time the idea of army and armaments,” said the athlete.
He stressed, "One cannot use the faith of people for their own purposes in order to hold down a post for another five years."
As the UOJ reported, earlier eminent Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik described the terms under which he can go to the united Church: this will happen provided the monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra do it. “I will be there where my spiritual mentors are,” said Usik.
