Mukachevo eparchy testifies allegiance to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry

Meeting of the Eparchial Council in Mukachevo

On November 7, a meeting of deans, rectors and abbots of all monasteries of the Mukachevo eparchy of the UOC was held at the Krasnogorsk Monastery of All Saints in Mukachevo, reports the press service of the eparchy.

The participants of the meeting, chaired by Metropolitan Theodore of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod, discussed current issues of UOC life in modern conditions.

The deans and abbots of all the monasteries of the Mukachevo eparchy unanimously expressed their support for His Beatitude Onufry, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, and the canonical structure of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

As the UOJ reported, earlier their allegiance to the Primate and the canonical Church was testified by the hierarchs and clergymen of Poltava, Tulchin, Rovno, Kherson, Kirovograd, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog and other eparchies of the UOC.
